For 25+ years, Barrett has been an award-winning creative producer whose work has screened at the Sundance Film Festival and at festivals worldwide.  His work for integrated marketing agencies covers numerous industries and has won a SABRE Award.  A past member of the Writer’s Guild of America, he has worked in the entertainment industry producing highly rated TV series for Discovery and TruTV and feature films for Paramount Pictures. 


For the last 10 years, Barrett has worked in the agency world of branded content by holding executive and producer positions at Text100, Access, Emanate and Inhance Digital.


He created content with iconic brands such as: Heineken, Jura, Dalmore, Absolut, Lysol, Microsoft, KPMG, Mercedes-Benz, Celebrity Cruises, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Bank of America, The Hartford, Almond Breeze, KFC, GoGoSqueez, Nivea Men, Sonicare, Philips Hue, Norelco, Philips Zoom, MacLaren, PPG, Merial, Amgen, Eli Lily, Chevrolet and GM.


Prior to focusing on branded content, Barrett worked in entertainment producing unscripted television for Discovery and A. Smith & Co. including the Top-10 rated Full Throttle Saloon for TruTV. While in feature production management, Barrett coordinated on such feature films as: Tomb Raider 2, The Sum of All Fears, Wonder Boys, Elizabethtown, Superstar, Along Came a Spider.


Barrett earned his MFA in film production from Loyola Marymount University where he also taught cinematography labs.

He loves the silliness his wife and two young children (and dog, Ralphie) spread at home.
